Abstract for Research Report We will organize a workshop for early-career researchers and students, featuring invited experts in graphical models from South Korea. This workshop aims not only to share the latest research findings in active fields such as graphical models, time series, and multivariate analysis but also to foster cross-disciplinary ideas and facilitate the discovery of new research topics. By establishing collaborative frameworks among researchers with limited prior interactions across disciplines, we hope to promote both academic advancement and real-world applications.

We strongly encourage the participation of master's and doctoral students, providing them with opportunities to present in English and develop as international researchers. Through the preparation process, they will enhance their research skills. Moreover, engaging in discussions with researchers and students from diverse fields is expected to cultivate original perspectives, leading to new insights and broader academic horizons.

The workshop will also explore the practical applications of the presented research, aiming to bridge academic advancements with real-world problem-solving. For example, developing predictive models to address societal challenges is one anticipated application across various domains. By fostering such discussions, we aim to contribute to practical solutions while also laying the groundwork for expanded industry-academia collaboration.

Serving as a platform for researchers and students from Japan and South Korea to exchange ideas, this workshop will help enhance the international visibility of Japanese research. Furthermore, it seeks to establish a foundation for ongoing international collaboration in the future.
