目的と期待される成果 This project aims to establish a theoretical framework for applying generalized sampling reconstruction (Eldar, 2003; Ma, 2017) and frame theory to the analysis of discrete and incomplete measurement data arising in crystallographic structure analysis and materials science. We address stable reconstruction from diffraction data and partial Fourier measurements. It studies measurement and reconstruction frames in the presence of missing data and phase information. Combining Tomiyasu’s expertise in mathematical crystallography with the applicant’s background in sampling theory and harmonic analysis, we develop error-stable reconstruction methods for crystallographic structure estimation.
